The Sea Wine Club is the first winery in the world to develop an oenological project that studies the evolution of wine in the sea and to launch its own line of wines with underwater maturation; a process that sets us apart from conventional wineries. Because we understand the tradition of wine as a basis on which to propose new ways of evolution in the sector.
Magna Mare, 100% Tempranillo. Harvested manually in their own limestone soil vineyards, located in the Ribera del Duero. This wine is matured for 14 months in new French oak barrels, and later undergoes a long maturation in the bottle in the cellars to ensure an optimal integration of the high tannic structure provided by the new oak.
Grand Mare, 100% Tempranillo. This wine is made directly in 225-litre French oak barrels for 14 days at low temperatures, with 4-5 daily punch downs, where it initially undergoes alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation, seeking an aromatic complexity…
Deus Mare, 100% Albariño. This single varietal wine is made with their own selected grapes and harvested manually on the Condado do Tea estates. Before vinification, a part of the «flower must» is separated from another part of the must that has been cold macerated with the skins for 24 hours. Via this method, a greater aromatic expression of the skin is achieved without losing the fruity aromas of the must.
CV 01, Coupage: (55%) Macabeo, (40%) Xarel·lo and (5%) Parellada. Harvested manually in their own vineyards of calcareous-clay soils. Our emblematic cava is the result of diligent quality control throughout the production process always prioritising the natural processes to take place with the utmost respect.

That is why at The Sea Wine Club we offer you the option of acquiring your wines before they are submerged. The number of bottles that we allow to mature on the seabed is extremely limited; therefore, by making your purchase in advance, you are guaranteed the reception of your bottles as soon as we retrieve them from the sea.

The Sea Wine Club dedicates its efforts to finding and selecting wines from different denominations of origin whose properties are improved and enhanced after an innovative maturation process by immersing the bottles under the sea: by virtue of this «journey», the wines acquire unique nuances that would not achieved through a traditional maturation method.

Over the centuries, the Mediterranean Sea has seen the birth, growth and development of hundreds of cultures and civilizations.
